Dear poets,

have you ever tried to imagine how your poetry would look like if it were reshaped into a form of a painting, musical composition, sculpture, choreography, or photograph…

I believe that in the world of art there is a continuous circle of inspiration, where strokes of a painter’s brush move a musician to compose, directors direct films and plays inspired by the words of writers, and a musician’s melody sets a dancer in motion, etc.

I would like to embark on such an adventure, where I let your verses be my inspiration in creating new fine-art and surreal photographs.

The idea is that at some point I will open an exhibition where all the works from this series inspired by poetry would be displayed. Of course, each work would be paired with its own poem.

To make this idea come to life, I need your help.

WHAT DOES THE PROCESS OF CREATION OF WORKS LOOK LIKE?

After reading the received poems, I will make a selection based on personal inspiration and visual images. With different lyrics of one song, I can wake up many visions, but I will probably choose only a few that I think, combined in one photo, can best show the whole poem or its most touching part.

Note: For each person, inspiration comes from different directions, what may have moved you greatly, does not mean that it will have the same effect on another person. Therefore, please do not take personal or offensively the fact that I may not have chosen your poem.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

Poets whose works I select for this series will receive a file of the finished work in high resolution for private use (posting on social networks, website, etc.), while I retain the rights to the artwork.

Also, poets will have a certain discount on prints that will be on sale in limited editions.

If someone wants to license the work, i.e. to get the rights to use the work for some other purposes (e.g. on the cover of the book), it is necessary to contact me first about the further agreement.

Although the range of topics that inspire me is very wide, I would still have to draw a line for the sake of cohesion between the works, because at the very end the works would be presented as one series.

UNTIL WHEN CAN POEMS BE SENT?

I will accept submissions until I feel the series is complete. This means, as long as this page on the site exists, you can submit works.
